Photographically, this is not a stellar shot, but I'm proud of it nonetheless. The wife spotted this guy (and a friend, not in the picture!) hopping along the forest floor. I so wanted to see a poison dart frog, so I was not disappointed. You can read up on these guys here: [link]

Make no mistake wildlife photography is hard. I have immense respect for photographers who become pros at it. It's all the more difficult, in my opinion, because you don't get many chances to make mistakes. Learning what to do is as difficult as learning what not to do. This shot was reasonably sharp because I had a 300 mm telephoto zoom on the camera at the time. It is reasonably blurry because I didn't have a tripod on the camera at the time. There was no time to mount the camera, either. The spectacle of "blue jeans" frogs leaping together on a leaf was over in less than a minute when they disappeared into the undergrowth. Had be been moments sooner or later, we never would have seen them.
